Jochen Wittke - Chairman

Jochen Wittke was born in Dortmund, Germany in 1967. After concluding his studies in Economics in 1992 with the exam “Diplom-Betriebswirt” he started his career in the leasing sector becoming Key Account Manager with one of the leading companies in this branch. From 1997 to 2000 Jochen Wittke was Member of the Managing Board of KBC Vendor Lease.

He then acquired substantial knowledge of the logistic sector moving to Cargofresh Technologies GmbH as Managing Director. Jochen Wittke is married and since April 2004 Board Member of the Hamburg based PONAXIS AG.

Hans Hermann Reschke - Deputy Chairman

Hans Hermann Reschke was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1933. He studied law at the University of Heidelberg and Hamburg receiving his qualifications in 1956 and 1960.

He began his career working for Deutsche Bank AG until 1964. He then worked for 10 years for Norddeutscher Lloyd/Hapag-Lloyd, AG in various roles, the last one being Deputy member of the Board of Management. His professional career also includes working for Deutsche Bundesbahn (Federal Railways) in Frankfurt and partner of B. Metzler seel. Sohn & Co. KGaA Frankfurt am Main, Germany’s oldest family owned private Investment bank.

He is currently the Deputy Chairman of Supervisory Board and Member of the Shareholders Committee B. Metzler seel. Sohn & Co. Holding AG.

Robert S. Arendal - Member

Robert S. Arendal has more than 40 years of experience in the air cargo industry, through various management positions in both shipping and aircargo in Europe as well as the United States.

In 1970 he became part of the management team that founded Cargolux Airlines International SA and later became Senior Vice President Sales, Marketing and Cargo Services as well as Deputy CEO.

He left Cargolux in 1998 to start his own business - ra associates - an air cargo management group as well as becoming Advisor to the Chairman and CEO of Atlas Air. (until 2001). In 2003, he founded Cool Chain Association-CCA which works towards harmonizing the movements and handling of perishables and temperature sensitive products. He was elected their first Chairman.

In 1999 Robert Arendal was appointed Chairman of the Board of Kallax Cargo Airport. He is a founding father and first Chairman of TIACA (The International Air Cargo Association). He is a Past President and presently a member of TIACA's President Council and entered the legendary TIACA Hall of Fame in 1997.
